Summary
Louis XIV bracket clock, the locking plate striking movement with a finely engraved firelight dial mounted enamel numeral plaquettes and a frieze of chased classical figures under, in a boulle and red tortoise-shell case.The shaped dome with platform top surmounted by a figure of fame, flambeau pedestal urns at the corners, the body arched and chamfered with scroll trusses mounted mask head and husk. The base with chased metal gilt mounts together with the bracket ensuite. Label LMB on clock.
