Castle Coole, County Fermanagh
This collection has 120 items online
The contents of Castle Coole are in every way equal to the architectural masterpiece created by James Wyatt in the 18th century. There is a fine collection of paintings including works by Cipriani and a number of well-known Irish artists such as Hugh Douglas Hamilton. It is furnished in a Regency style, with elaborate curtains, fine pier glasses, ‘Grecian’ couches and a magnificent state bed. Therse are among just a few of the treasures on show in this impressive home, all by kind permission of Lord Belmore.
