Quebec House is a Tudor building constructed from a mixture of brick and Kentish ragstone with 3 gables on each façade. It has been altered several times. It is the house in which General James Wolfe spent his early years. Inside there is good 17th-century panelling and a Jacobean overmantel in the parlour in which the mutilated arms of Henry VII are inserted.
A collection of late 17th and early 18th century furniture; paintings, prints and personal artefacts associated with Canada and Wolfe, including the quilted dressing gown in which his body was brought back to England from Quebec.
