Summary
Oil painting on canvas, A Classical Landscape by Francesco Zuccarelli, RA (Pitigliano 1702 - Florence 1788) and Sir Joshua Reynolds PRA (Plympton 1723 - London 1792). A shepherd boy and girls with their sheep in the foreground, a cliff with a waterfall at the right and distant hills beyond a river at the left. Zuccarelli's hand is only in the background village. Figures and sheep have been added - by Reynolds - who may also have been responsible for the clouds. The thatched cottage on the hill at the right is hardly compatible with Zuccarelli.
