Summary
One of a set of seventeen soup plates from a Chinese porcelain tobacco leaf dinner service made for the European market in the reign of Chien Lung. Decorated in deep blue, red, green, turquoise and other colours, gilded on a near white ground.

Accepted in part payment of death duties by HM Treasury and transferrred to NT in 1957
