Oil painting on canvas, Peter Upcher of Sudbury (c.1692 - 1737), attributed to Joseph Highmore London 1692 – Canterbury 1780). A half-length portrait of a mature man, turned to the right, gazing at the spectator, shoulder-length powdered wig with centre parting, brown coat and white stock.
