Oil painting on canvas, Mrs Thomas Upcher, in the manner of Thomas Hudson (Devonshire 1701 – Twickenham 1779). A painted oval half-length portrait of a mature woman, turned to the left, gazing at the spectator, wearing a cream satin robe edged with white lace at the neck and sleeves. Dark brown hair. Brown background. Wife of Thomas Upcher of Sudbury (b. 1640)
