Oil painting on canvas, View of Osterley from the South West by Anthony Devis (Preston 1729 – Albury House, Surrey 1816), 1784. The view of the house as taken from across the lake. Set in green landscape park, the view of the house is framed by the clumps of trees, one on the near bank of the lake, the other on the far. Stags and deer in the foreground. Pale blue cloudy sky.
