Summary
Oil painting on oak panel, Two Pack Horses, Pieter van Bloemen, called 'Il Stendardo' (1657-1720). Two horses, the one in the foreground white and the other black stand in front of a tent on the left hand side and a barn can be seen in the distance on the right.
Provenance
Introduced from Wavendon in 1897; given to the National Trust along with the house, its grounds, and the rest of contents by Sir Henry Hugh Arthur Hoare, 6th Bt (1865 – 1947) in 1946.
