Oil painting on canvas, An Old Woman Singing by Giacomo Francesco Cipper, il Todeschini (Feldkirch 1664 - Milan 1736). A woman, wearing a headress, a fur-lined red shawl and blue dress is seated at a table. She looks down at a music score which she holds in her left hand and a crutch is balanced against the table, under her right arm. She holds spectacles in her right hand and a small dog lies curled up asleep on the table beside another book. A wooden music stand seen from behind and holding an open music score stands in the far right foreground. The picture is a companion piece to NT 732094, A Boy with a Mouse, by the same artist.
