Summary
Part of a chemistry set in a wooden box. There are nine books of litmus paper, six of which are tied with a rubber band. Some of the covers of the litmus paper books have a marble pattern, others are marked with a repetitive pattern of Hendon Johnson and Sons. The paper is of different colours - pink, purple and yellow. Some have been torn out of the books. There is also a white pottery pestle and mortar, which has been used. Inside is a white pottery lid with an eye forming a handle. Finally there is a yellow pottery cylinder with a round pottery lid with a handle. The cylinder is roughly made with a dirty inside. Total number of items is 15.
