Summary
Oil painting on canvas. Italian landscape with three figures on horseback, (two men and a female), three figures seated to their right. Dog in the foreground. Buildings and lake with bridge to the left. A figure with horse sitting on the stone bridge. Framed in large, ornate gilded frame. attributed to Jan Asselyn (Dieppe c.1610 – Amsterdam 1652). In 2016 the painting was attributed to Adriaen van Eemont. Signed and dated I.I AVE (in compendium)1653.
