Summary
One of a pair of Derby white biscuit groups of cupids emblematic of the Elements. This one is of Cupid sharpening arrows on a knife grinder, whilst a small girl sits beside holding a flaming torch. His quiver lies on the ground. Maker's mark - incised 48 and a cross. 1790 (circa).
