Summary
Oil painting on panel, King Edward VI (1537 - 1553), after Scrots, circa 1800. A whole-length portrait, standing facing, with left hand holding an orb which is resting on a table. A window looks out onto a garden on the right. An imaginary portrait, ultimately based on the Holbein in the Royal Collection.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Edgar Graham Lister (1873 – 1956) with the house and collection of furniture in 1956.
