Oil painting on canvas, Elizabeth Bransby, Lady Astley (c.1672 - 1738), British (English) School A bust-length portrait, wearing a blue robe of the wife of Sir Philip Astley, 2nd Bt. She was the daughter of Thomas Bransby and Elizabeth. She married Sir Philip Astley, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Jacob Astley, 1st Bt., and Blanche Wodehouse, on 2 December 1690 at Westminster Abbey, Westminster, London, England. She died on 30 March 1738. She was buried on 7 April 1738 at Melton Constable, Norfolk.
