Summary
Separate cover for a quatrefoil shaped Meissen Ecuelle (broth bowel), one of a pair, in hard paste porcelain with a lemon spray and leaf finial, painted in colourful enamels with Watteauesque figures in a garden landscape, scattered naturalistic flowers and gold line bands. Meissen, circa 1748-55.
