A separate cover for a bullet-shaped Chinese 'famille rose' teapot, porcelain, enamelled in colours and gold, China, Jingdezhen, painted in Guangzhou (Canton), ca. 1745.
Provenance
Possibly acquired by Commodore George Anson (1697 – 1762) during his circumnavigation of the globe in the HMS Centurion (1740 - 1744).
