Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Meinhard Schomberg, Duke of Leinster and 3rd Duke of Schomberg (1641–1719), attributed to French School or British (English) School, circa 1685-90. A three-quarter-length portrait of Count Schomberg, turned to the left, facing the viewer, standing in a landscape. He wears armour, with a gold sash around his waist, and a full wig. His right arm is held forward, his left hand rests on a helmet by his side. A gnarled tree is to the left of the composition.
