Oil painting on canvas, Landscape with Diana at the Chase, Italo-Flemish School, circa 1700. A wooded landscape with trees at left, a sandy bank right, the deer and the hunt in the centre.
Provenance
In inventory of the late James Hutton's house in Park Lane 27-28 July 1770 as; 'Diana hunting'; also listed in undated 19th century Erddig inventory as; 'Diana hunting' and thence by descent until given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
