Summary
The right hand small drawer of a fruitwood inlaid walnut and 'seaweed' marquetry cabinet on stand, in Anglo-Dutch baroque style, with metal handle fitting. Late seventeenth century and later. Drawer has two paper labels. The first is printed:-" William III Marqueterie Cupboard with folding doors, inlaid with panels of scrollwork on walnut wood ground, on turned spiral legs with stretchers. 6ft 6ins high, 5ft 3ins wide". The second is printed:- "OLD ENGLISH WILLIAM III MARQUETRY CUPBOARD. Bought at Christie's by Lord Wraxall July 1910".
