Summary
Spinet by John Player late c.17th; in walnut case on later stand of four legs on wooden castors; the 'white' keys are black and vice versa; the black 'white' keys have a floral motif carved on the end; above the keyboard is inscribed 'JOHANNES PLAYER FECIT' in a frame of black stringing; the lid has three old shaped hinges at the back, and two at the front for the keyboard lid.
