Caption
This is an amateur work by the daughter of the 2nd Earl of Ilchester. She married as her first husband William Davenport Talbot (1764 – 1800), and as her second, Admiral Charles Feilding (1780 – 1837), whose fortunes revived those of Lacock. Her son, William Henry Fox Talbot (1800 – 1877), the renowned photographer, inherited Lacock.
