Summary
A mid-eighteenth century lady's fan made from ivory and textile. Decorated with metal foil and stiffened textile painted with figures and flowers outlined with metal thread and sequins. With original papier mache box NUN/MISC/294b.
Provenance
Said to have belonged to Catharine Graham, Lady Widdrington (1677-1757). Catharine Graham lived at Nunnington Hall until her death in 1757.
