Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Head an Elderly Man, attributed to Sir Anthony Van Dyck (Antwerp 1599 - London 1641). A head-and-shoulders portrait of a man, wearing a dark doublet and white ruff, his head turned downwards to the left. The painting is thought to be a study by Van Dyck for his portrait of an unknown elderly man, now in the Musée Jacquemart-André, Paris.
