Oil painting on canvas, View at Wick, near Bath by Thomas Barker (Pontypool 1769 – Bath 1847), possibly signed in the right bottom corner and dated 1809. View of a wooded landscape with horse-drawn cart going over bridge in the centre, a man and a dog beside it, donkeys in the foreground, and chimneys of a house beyond.

Artist's sale, Phillips, 26 April 1823, lot no. 45, bought by Charles Winn for £13 13s. 6d;'Catalogue of paintings from the collection of Charles Winn Esq. of Nostell Priory' sold by auction on 1 October 1857 at Manchester, by W.D. Fullalove and Brother, bought in for £36 15s or £40; purchased by the National Trust by private treaty sale from Lord St Oswald in 2010.
