Summary
Two oak, octagonal, tapering head posts, each with square section at the point at which the end and side rails are bolted to the posts, with metal spike at the top and single bolt holes for end/side rails with one bolt at each end. The front of each post has dovetail cut-out sections into which the headboard fits and the right hand post (a.ii) has a fragment of un-dyed cotton or linen tape tacked to it. Part of a child’s oak four poster bedstead.
