Summary
One of two heavy, oak, octagonal, tapering head posts with a square section at the point at which the head board and end/side rails are attached to the posts. Each post also has a metal spike at the top and square metal hook on which to hook curtain rods, and single bolt holes to receive end/side rails with one bolt at each end. Part of the head end of a four-poster bedstead.
