Summary
One of two square, tapering, oak head posts, each with cut-out section into which a headboard would be fitted (not present) and with two hinged wood stays on each post to keep the headboard in place (missing from the right hand post). The posts have bolt holes to receive end/side rails with a single bolt at each end. Part of a head end of a four-poster bedstead.
