Summary
Oil painting on canvas (oval), thought to be Henrietta Cavendish-Bentinck, Countess of Stamford, British (English) School, circa 1760. An oval half-length portrait of a woman, turned to the right, gazing at the spectator, wearing a white dress, with a white cloak with ruffled collar, she also wears a white scarf tied under her chin, over her powdered hair. A pair with DUN/P/138.
