Caption
Henrietta Cavendish-Bentinck (1737-1827) was the daughter of the 2nd Duke of Portland, who, in 1763, married the 5th Earl of Stamford. She bore him no fewer than ten children. Another portrait of her at Dunham Massey, by the same artist, shows her at a slightly later date, and is a companion piece to a portrait of her husband.
