Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Sir Cordell Firebrace (1711-1759), circle of Sir Godfrey Kneller (Lübeck 1646/9 - London 1723). A three-quarter length portrait standing, wearing a brown coat with gilt buttons. Left hand tucked inside coat, right hand on hip. Previously thought to be Sir John Cordell 3rd Bt.
Provenance
From the Hyde Parker Collection. Loaned to the National Trust in 1997, and purchased from Sir Richard Hyde Parker and Lord and Lady Camoys in October 1997.
