Summary
Oil painting on canvas, A Group of Peasants outside a Tavern by David Teniers the younger (Antwerp 1610 - Brussels 1690), signed lower right: D.Teniers. Two couples seated, two men standing, one with a red hat and a boy reading a notice on a fence. Jug on table lower right. Man with dog. Seven boors are gathered out of doors by a wooden fence; a man tries to seduce a woman, another looks at a dog, a third reads a notice, and two men and a woman sit on a bench; various drinking-vessels and utensils are disposed around them.
