Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Frances Hunt (d. 1798) by Thomas Hudson (Devonshire 1701 – Twickenham 1779), circa 1750/60. A three-quarter length portrait of the fouth daughter of Thomas Hunt II (1684 - 1739) facing to the left but her head facing forwards, with her right arm resting on a pedestal with a red curtain in the background on the left. She wears a white and blue satin dress, decorated with pearls and ribbons, with wide lace collar and lace cuffs.

by descent, until given by Gerald, 7th Viscount Clifden (1883 - 1966), with the transfer of the house to the National Trust in 1953
