Summary
Mirror, Pier glass - George I pier glass, probably Irish, with domed top within a giltwood painted frame. The similarly decorated inner frame contains a concave reeded mirror section. c.1710 (John Hartley from Tankderdale thought the pier glass was Queen Anne and probably English - see his report 2006)
Provenance
This mirror was given to the National Trust with the house by The Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who had brought it to Lanhydrock from Wimpole when he sold it in the 1930's.
