Summary
Bottle vase - Chinese porcelain powder blue and gilt vase (Kangxi Period), of tapered square bottle form with short waisted neck and trumpet mouth, decorated with white fan and square shaped reserves of famille verte flowers and foliage upon a powder blue ground overpainted in gilt with lotus and scrollage. (A matched pair with LAN.C.159) c.1695-1720
Provenance
According to notes for the Gallery c.1975, these two vases came from Polesdon Lacey and were at that time on the far windowsills.
