Summary
(Folio 46, recto) The capture of Hylas by the nymphs, after Giulio Romano; pastoral landscape with at left Hylas, seated on a river bank with four hounds, is being pulled into the water by three nymphs who tug his hair; beyond at right, on the opposite bank, figures rushing towards a sleeping Hercules; in the right foreground lies a nude female and two attendants
