Caption
The engraving is one of the illustrations of the poem 'Documenti d'Amore' by Francesco da Barberino (1264-1348), which was published for the first time in 1640, in Rome. The publication was commissioned by the cardinal Francesco Barberini, who commissioned the drawings to amateur artists, while the engravings were executed by J. F.
