Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Catherine Poulett, Lady Parker (1706-1758), attributed to Michael Dahl (Stockholm 1656 – London 1743). A three-quarter length portrait of the daughter of the 1st Earl of Poulett, Secretary of State and then Lord Steward to Queen Anne, and wife of John Parker (1703-1768), facing in white satin décolleté dress with pink lace trimmings, holding a sprig of orange blossom, a small pet parrot perches by her left hand, beside a fountain.
