Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Saltram from the North East by Philip Hutchins Rogers (Plymouth 1794 - Lichenthal, Germany 1853). The house is seen beyond the trees from a position about halfway up the Merafield drive, with the River Plym in the background. The painting was exhibited at the Royal Academy along with its companion in 1813.
