Summary
Oil painting on copper, Charity Ourry, Mrs Montagu Edmund Parker (1752-1786) by John Downman, RA (Ruabon, North Wales, 1750 – Wrexham 1824), signed and dated, lower right: J. Downman pinxit 1780. An oval half-length portrait of daughter of Admiral Ourry and wife of Montagu Edmund Parker, of Whiteway. She is looking slightly to the left, in pale green riding coat, pink waistcoat and stock, large black hat with feathers. A maroon curtain is behind her on the right.
