Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Francesco Bartolozzi (1727–1815) by Sir Joshua Reynolds PRA (Plympton 1723 - London 1792), 1773. A half-length portrait of Francesco Bartolozzi, the engraver, turned slightly to the right, head looking to the left, his arms resting on a table in front, wearing a red coat and fur collar.
Provenance
Mr Thrale, Streatham Park; not in Saltram 1819 catalogue but there by 1844; accepted by HM Treasury in part payment of death-duties from the executors of Edmund Robert Parker, 4th Earl of Morley (1877-1951) and transferred to the National Trust in 1957
