Sugar box and cover, hard paste porcelain, oval form with low foot, bulbous sides and domed cover, lion knop, Meissen, ca 1725; decorated around the body and on the cover with chinoiserie figures within cartouches in the manner of Johann Gregor Höroldt, Böttger lustre within cartouches, gilt, red and perlmutter borders, the knop gilt.
