Summary
Blanc de chine hard paste porcelain mug, of European shape. It has a strap handle and moulded bands at the top and bottom. The base once bore a label (now kept inside mug) inscribed 'Cup given by Queen Anne to one of her maids of honour on her marriage with a Newcombe'. Sal Cat 275T. Chinese, Dehua, 1680 - 1720
