Covered bowl, porcelain, the cup with an inverted bell shape and the lid domed, made in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province, China, Jiaqing period (1796–1820), decorated in the famille rose (‘pink family’) palette in pink, green, blue, orange and black enamels with plants and butterflies, four-character marks in underglaze blue within the footrings of both the cup and the lid.
