Summary
Guglet or bottle vase, porcelain, with globular, ribbed body and tall, waisted neck with a slightly recessed rim, made in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province, China, Kangxi period (1662–1722), early 18th century, decorated in the famille verte (‘green family’) palette in underglaze blue and overglaze green, red and blue enamels and gold, the main body with various flowering plants, a diaper-pattern band with rosettes at the base of the neck, flower sprays around the neck and pendant leaves below the rim.

Accepted by HM Government in lieu of inheritance tax and allocated to the National Trust, 1957.
