Summary
Jar, porcelain, round and of baluster shape, made in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province, China, Kangxi period (1662–1722), late 17th century, decorated in underglaze blue with stylised lotus flowers and scrolling foliage, fitted with a metal band around the rim and with a later carved wooden domed lid with a bud finial.
