Summary
Bottle vases, a pair, probably originally part of a three-piece garniture for a cupboard, tin-glazed earthenware, of guglet shape, garlic-shaped neck, of octagonal section, painted in blue, yellow and green on a pale-blue ground, with birds, foliate and insects, inspired by Chinese Transitional designs of the 1630s; Netherlands, Delft, possibly De Pauw (The Peacock) factory, 1695-1710.
