Provenance
Reputedly presented to Jane Lane at the Restoration by the King, supposedly thanks to her for saving his life at the Battle of Worcester and thence by descent; purchased from Edward Ward, 7th Viscount Bangor (1903 – 1993), in 1967, with a grant from the Ulster Land Fund
