Summary
A joined oak rocking cradle of plain construction. Front of five planked hood is decorated with iron studs. The interior of opposite end has space for insertion of two circular poles. 1650-1700
Provenance
From the Bennet family of Hexworthy. There is a letter, dated 3.8.1984, from Miss Linda Fenton, North Island, New Zealand, saying that her grandfather's grandparents used this cradle, as did her grandfather.
