Summary
An oak half-headed bedstead, the back having top rail carved with repeat pattern of hanging leaves above two square and two rectangular plain panels divided by reeded supports. The back panel is placed between taller square supports. Base has two octagonal simple carved supports growing from square section legs. The simple moulded frame has holes for the ropes on top of which lies the mattress. English 1650-1700
